This issue of the Mercosur Journal of Social Policy (RMPS) marks the relaunch, by the Mercosur Social Institute (ISM), of a key platform for the production and dissemination of technical knowledge and experiences focused on the design and implementation of public policies in the region. In line with the Biennial Plan of the Meeting of Ministers and Authorities of Social Development of Mercosur (RMADS), this 2025 edition is dedicated to the challenges of social registries, recognized as an indispensable element for strengthening social protection systems in MERCOSUR.
