Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- This paper was not published and was not submitted to any Journal (if so, please explain the situation on Comments to the editor
- The archive is in an OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF or Word Perfect format.
- If was posible, it was included the URL´´´´s
- The paper is with simple interline, 12 pts Times New Roman, italic (except for links), and all the images and tables are on the right position (and not in the end).
- The paper follows the style and rules from Author´´ Guidelines.
Original Investigation
Primary research articles in which the latest findings from a study are directly reported.
The manuscript should be organized in the following order:
- Title: should not exceed 8 to 12 words
- Abstract: written in a single paragraph and with up to 250 words.
- Keywords: 5 descriptors that represent the content of the article.
- Introduction, methodology, results and discussion, conclusions: The manuscript should be limited to 3,500-5,000 words.
- References: must have a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 35 bibliographic references.
- acknowledgement (if any)
- indicate whether the research was funded by any institution.
- conflict of interest statement
- authors' contribution statement
- the title and keywords must be presented in the three languages of the journal (Spanish, Portuguese, and English).
Reviews These contributions can review books, research, reports, and other types of publications on topics related to the journal and the MERCOSUR region.
The text should be no longer than 2,500 words. The header of the text should specify the author, title, publisher, place, and date of publication reviewed.
The RMPS editorial team will have the exclusive power to request reviews from leading figures in social policy in the MERCOSUR region. Reviews that have not been expressly requested will not be published.
Review Articles
Original research articles disclose the most recent findings of a conducted study.
The manuscript should be organized as follows:
1. Title: 8–12 words maximum.
2. Abstract: one paragraph, up to 250 words.
3. Keywords: 5 descriptors representing the article’s content.
4. Introduction, Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusions: 3,500–5,000 words in total.
5. References: minimum 15, maximum 35.
6. Acknowledgments (if any).
7. Funding disclosure.
8. Conflict of interest statement.
9. Author contribution statement.
10. Title and keywords must be presented in all three languages of the journal (Spanish, Portuguese, and English).
Book Reviews
These contributions may review books, studies, reports, and other publications on topics related to the journal and the MERCOSUR region.
The text must not exceed 2,500 words. The header must include the author, title, publisher, location, and date of the reviewed publication.
The RMPS Editorial Team has the exclusive authority to commission reviews from key figures in social policy in the MERCOSUR region. Unsolicited reviews will not be published.
Special Sections
The RMPS provides open sections of variable content, which may be dedicated to current and highly relevant topics. These may include: Debate Topics, Essays, Reflections, Case Analyses, Conference Presentations.
The text should be structured as follows: title, body of work, and some references.
Titles and subtitles in the body of the text must be numbered with Arabic numerals. The main title must not exceed 8–12 words. The manuscript length is limited to 1,000 words.
This section is open both to author submissions and to contributions commissioned by the Editorial Team.
